Arlene Ruth Turner, 82, of Glendive, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at her home.

Arlene was born on October 5, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the younger of two children born to Paul and Genevieve (Meyers) Lentz. She moved with her family to Howard Lake, Minnesota and then to Bemidji, Minnesota where she attended school graduating with the class of 1949.
In 1950, Arlene married LeRoy C. Olson and to this union four children were born; Mike, David (who passed away as an infant), Ronald (who passed away in 1969) and Jodi. LeRoy was killed in 1965. Arlene moved her family to Livingston, Montana, Forsyth, Montana and finally Glendive where she worked for several accounting firms including; Schimke & Weigum's and Gate City Dairy where she met the love of her life, C. Gordon Turner.

They were united in marriage and combined their families; Arlene's children and Gordons two children, Sherri Beeler and Kyle Turner.

In Arlene's early years she enjoyed traveling, cross stitching, crocheting and painting which still decorate their house today. She also enjoyed Sudoku puzzles and cherished time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, LeRoy Olson; sons, David and Ronald Olson; parents, Paul and Genevieve Lentz; one brother, Gordon; one niece, Gayle; mother-in-law, Lila Turner and best friend, Karin King.

Survivors include the love of her life and husband, C. Gordon Turner of Glendive; son, Mike (Charlotte) Olson of Glendive; daughter, Jodi (Bob) Dobson of Glendive; daughter, Sherri (Dan) Beeler of Hamilton, Montana; son Kyle (Ella) Turner of Hamilton; grandchildren, Michael Olson of Glendive, Jamie Shellenberger of Havre, Montana, Michelle Olson of Glendive, Jody (Cass) Copper of Hamilton, Toby Warner of Corvallis, Montana, Michael Todd Warner of Missoula, Montana and Angela O'Connel of Kalispell, Montana; twelve great-grand children; one great-great grandchild; brother-in-law, Bob (Carol) Turner of Glendive; two nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Glendive with Pastor Ruth McKenzie officiating.

Interment will be held in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive.
