Kay V. Baker passed away December 31, 2012, at home with his family by his side.

He was born January 2, 1950, to Gwen Christianson and Vernon Pease in Blackfoot, Idaho.

Kay grew up in Moreland and Blackfoot. He eventually went to and graduated from ISU. He met and married the love of his life, Jannette Collwell.

He loved to go fishing, camping, read books, his church, and the New England Patriots. He was a great man with a kind heart and a great sense of humor. He also loved spending time with his family, friends, children, and grandchildren.

Kay was preceded in death by his mother Gwen, father Vernon, and his wife of 40 years, Jannette, whom he loved dearly.

He had three children; Billie Kay (Stephen), Jeremy Kay, and Michael (Jaime). He had two sisters; Sandra Clark and Barbara Marsh. Three half-sisters; Rebecca Baker, Joyce Pease, and Selena Pease. He also had seven grandchildren; Michael, Bethany, Sebastian, Samantha, Vincent, Ethan, and TJ.

Kay loved his whole family and enjoyed spending time with them all.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2012, at the LDS 52nd Ward Chapel located at 1700 Kinghorn. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow services at Mountain View Cemetery.
