Harmon was a retired steel worker with Oregon Steel. He enjoyed writing short stories, novels, drawing, traveling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Donna; son, John; daughter-in-law, Kelly; grandchildren, Brandon and Erin; sisters, Betty Rhine and Lillian Thibedeau; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Thurs., April 13, 2006 at 4:00 pm at CrossPoint Baptist Church in Vancouver, WA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice Southwest.
