LA MARQUE — Rodney Sullivan, 46, of La Marque passed away Friday, 18, 2005, at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston.
Rodney was born March 9, 1959, in Pineville, Louisiana to Buger and Lois Sullivan. Rodney worked for Gene Hamon Auto for twenty-six years as a make ready mechanic.
Rodney is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Mary J. and Alton Crezo of Lawton, Oklahoma, Shelia and Eddie Shaw of Bonaire, Georgia, Phyllis S. and Albert Buck of Houston, Texas and Bernadette Sullivan of La Marque, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law John L. and Alma Sullivan of Cottage City, Maryland, Michael and Eloise Sullivan of Texas City, Texas and Robert Sullivan of La Marque, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, March 23, 2005, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the James Crowder
Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005, in the chapel of the funeral
home with Pastor Wayne Clement officiating.
Interment to follow service at the Rising Star Cemetery in La Marque.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Mason, Anthony Justice, Duke Sullivan, George Spencer, Dwayne Joseph and Terry Ross. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Nelson, Jr., Albert Buck, Sr., Albert Buck II, Wilson West III and Melvin Gaines.
