Amber was born February 10, 1983, in Rockford, IL, to Randy L. and Judith E. (Reavy) Scott. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools in Morrison, IL, and graduated from Morrison High School in 2001.
Survivors include Dan Posey of Clinton, IA, with whom she made her home; one son, Brennen Posey; mother and step-father, Judy and Wes Drehmer of Morrison; two sisters, Jennifer Reavy of Sterling, IL and Cristine Scott of Morrison; one half brother, Jason, of Rock Falls; grandparents, Donna Reavy of Morrison and Gilbert and Donna Scott of Rock Falls; two nephews, Nicholas Zigler and Braxton Froeliger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Randy Scott; one half sister, April Reavy.
