Foy Bolding, age 83, of Red Bay, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at Red Bay Hospital.
Mr. Bolding was a native of Franklin County and an employee of the State Highway Department for 28 years. He was a member of New Union Missionary Baptist Church and Red Bay Masonic Lodge #690. He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Bolding; and a granddaughter, Shelia Bolding.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Isaacs and Rev. Jeremy Harris officiating. Interment was in Halltown Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Glen Vinson, Joel Bolding, Michael Bolding, Allen Boyd, Frankie Smith and Jerry Hagood.
Mr. Bolding is survived by his wife, Eloise Bolding; a daughter, Brenda Bolding; a son, Terry Bolding; a brother, John Lewis Bolding; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special caretaker, Trina Daily.
