I had the privilege to know Teresa. She was real, caring, and vivacious. A consummate grandma, she loved and helped care for hers. Cancer takes away so many good people.

AMITY - Teresa lost her battle with cancer on February 25th with her family by her side. Teresa was born and raised in Salem, OR and graduated from Linfield College. She loved to sew, fish and hunt, and she LOVED football. Teresa is survived by her husband Gary Bacon. Her 3 daughters Tosha Ferrando (husband Heath Ferrando, Samantha Dean (husband David Dean) and Hannah Imlah. Her 2 sons Derrick Bacon (Fiance Cheyenne Peppers) and Corey Bacon. Her mother Pearl Johnson and 2 brothers Ed Johnson and Michael Johnson. Also her 3 grandchildren Blake Ferrando, Hunter Dean and Maci Ferrando. Teresa is proceeded in death by her father Earl Johnson. A Celebration of Life has been set for Saturday March 2nd at 1:00 pm in the Amity High School Main Gym.
