Barbourville, Ky. - Glenda C. Brock Caldwell, 49 passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005, at the Knox County Hospital.
She was born in Pineville on Oct. 26, 1955, the daughter of Sonny Brock and the late Lola North Brock Cook. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and had been a homemaker.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Garrett Wade Brock; and a brother, Gary Len Brock.
Survivors include her daughter, Mercy Michelle Brock Jones, son, Gary Kenneth Brock Cook, both of Pineville; father and step-mother, Sonny and Lorene Brock; brother and his wife, Kenneth and Linda Brock of Barbourville; step-sisters, Benita Brock and Charlotte Lawson; grandchildren, Jonah Jones, Samuel Tray Brock Jones and Matthew Brock; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Everett Miller presiding. Music will be by JoAnn Smith and Cathy Brock.
Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Barbourville Nursing Home staff.
The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
