Ruth Alice Firebaugh, 92, of Danville, passed away at 9:39 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 at her home.

She was born on July 4, 1920 to Thomas and Mabel Lee Acree in Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Acree Tipton and brothers, Thomas and Robert Acree. She married Dale Firebaugh on July 8, 1939 in Urbana. He survives.

Also surviving are her daughters, Margo Lee Firebaugh and Cathy Suzan (Robert D.) Morgan; grandchildren, Tanya (John) Dollar, Eric (Luann) Snyder, Kim (Ken) Kistler, Carrie (Bradley) Collier and Samantha Morgan and eight great-grandchildren.
