Louis Heard was a past member of Union Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an Usher. He departed this life Sunday, February 24, 2013, in a local nursing home.
He is survived by four sons: L. B. Heard of Los Angeles, California, Roy Heard of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Johnny L. Heard of Wichita Kansas, and Willy B. Heard of Detroit, Michigan; two daughters: Ola Mae Dale of Chicago, Illinois and Jeanette Cherenfant of Manhattan, Kansas; one brothers: Odell Broomfield of Hot Springs, AR; three sisters: Onie Mae Wilborn of Hot Springs, AR, Lecie Huley of Prescott, Arkansas, and Verna Ford of Stockton, California; three step children: Lorene Broadnack of Bayless, Texas, Rosie Nell Arberry and Jessie James Arberry both of Dallas, Texas.
Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery Stephens, Arkansas, with services provided by Brandon's Mortuary, Inc.
