"Formerly of Cochecton, N.Y., Kent B. Baker, a former employee of the Buncombe County Sheriff's Department, and former resident of Cochecton, died February 22, 2005, at the Mission of St. Joseph's Hospital in Asheville, N.C. He was 48.
He was the son of Betty Susen Baker and the late Owen B. Baker.
Survivors include his wife, Aundi Barnes Baker, at home; his mother, Betty Susen Baker, of Cochecton; a daughter, Blair Baker of Fairview, N.C.; a son, Zeke Baker of Candler, N.C.; one sister, Candice Baker of Florida; one brother, Dennis Baker of Florida; three stepchildren: Emily and Nathan Barnes and Scotty Garner; two step-grandchildren, Gracie Baker and Noah Clevinger; unborn grandson, Zeke Baker II; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited and urged to attend the graveside services on Saturday February 26, 2005 at 10:00 AM at East Cochecton Cemetery, Cochecton, N.Y.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
