A 46-year-old Odessa passanger died Tuesday night from injuries sustained in a rollover crash on Farm-to-Market Road 1788.
Department of Public Safety troopers, Midland County deputies and the Midland Fire Department responded to the rollover at about 9:09 p.m., which occurred about two miles north of the intersection of highway 191 and FM-1788.
A tow truck used for transporting trailers was headed southbound on Farm-to-Market Road 1788 when the driver, of Cibolo, lost control of the truck for currently unknown reasons, said Brian McGary, MFD battalion chief.
The weather conditions may have been a factor in the crash, said DPS Trooper Molly Hernandez.
The driver was uninjured but the passenger died from his injuries and was pronounced dead on scene, she said.
