Mr. Fleming who passed on Feb. 19, 2013, was born Nov. 14, 1946. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernistene Fleming and five brothers, David, John, Joseph, Herman and Arthur D. Fleming.
Mr. Fleming is survived by four daughters, Warnell (Larry) Mitchell, Gwendolyn Smith, Dorothy Fleming all of Miami, Florida and a devoted daughter, Cynthia Fleming of Wrightsville; one son, Otis W. (Rebecca) Fleming of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Sammie (Carrie) Fleming of Miami, Florida; one brother, Sammie (Carrie) Fleming of Miami, Florida; two sisters, Dessie Dixon and Derrie Fleming of Miami, Florida; one aunt, Lois Norris; one uncle, L.W. Norris of Wrightsville; three sisters-in-law, Rosie Tucker, Dorothy Horne, Gladys Walker all of Wrightsville; one brother-in-law, Willie C. (Carolyn) Walker of Miami, Florida; one devoted godson, Kelvin Outlaw of Wrightsville, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at 81 Flanders Street in Wrightsville.
