CHARLENE EDWARDS 61, of Reno, died at 9:15 PM Thursday May 24, 2007 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM Sunday May 27, 2007 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Edwards was born January 4, 1946 in Anson, TX to Jack Buster and Leva Odell George Ussery. She married Charles Letcher Edwards on her birthday in 1964 in Ralls, TX. Mrs. Edwards was a Certified Nurse Aide for Paris Regional Medical Center for 25 years prior to her retirement. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband, Charles Edwards of Reno; two children, David Edwards of Paris and Penny Pearce and husband, Alan of Hallsville, TX; four grandchildren, Justin Edwards of Paris, Amanda Hartmann and husband, Andrew of White Oak, TX, Nathan Pearce of Hallsville, and Kaitlyn Edwards of Paris; two great-grandchildren, Dakotah and Heavanly Hartmann; her mother, Leva Ussery of Crosbyton, TX; her twin brother, Charles Ussery of Oklahoma City, OK; four sisters, Lois Hurni and husband, Wayne of Hawley, TX, Betty McCutchen of Ralls, TX, Helen Yarbrough and husband, James of Canyon, TX, and Jowanna Martin and husband, Wes of Littlefield, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father.
