Diana G. Pearson, 47, Jasper, Indiana, died from the complications of lupus Wednesday morning, August 27, 2003, in the Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, Jasper, Indiana.
She was bron in Monroe, Micigan, September 1, 1955, daughter of Audie and Eula (Carey) Neely. She married the Rev. Richard T. Pearson on August 15, 1992.
Surviving are her husband, Rev. Richard T. Pearson; a son, Jonathon Diedrich, Longmont, Colorado; her parents, Audie and Eula Neely, Monroe; and a sister, Mary Jane Van Slambrock, Monroe.
A memorial service was held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 25, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper. Cremation rites were accorded with burial at a later date. There was no visitation. Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes, Jasper, was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or to the Lupus Foundation.
On September 5 at 1 p.m. there was a Memorial Service at First Congregational Community Church, Roscoe, IL.
Rev. Richard Pearson served as pastor of the Rosce First Congregational Community Church for eight years from 1994-2002. He is a Rockton area native and Hononegah High School graduate - Class of 1973.
