AMORY – Sandra Gaye Garner, 60, died on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on Aug. 26, 1952, in Memphis, she was a daughter of the late Durain Harold and Anna Lee Whitset Edgeworth. She attended Amory High School and IJC. She married Terry Garner on May 27, 1988. Always smiling and full of life, she was a mother and friend to everyone. She worked as a seamstress with Amory Garment; in Outpatient Administration at NMMC; as an administrative assistant with her brother, Joe, at Mississippi Mortgage; and was working as an administrative office manager at MedPoint. She grew up in the Jehovah's Witness church. She enjoyed shopping, Ole Miss sports, HGTV, decorating her home and a variety of music. Family, friends and her two dogs, Lucy and Jazzy, were important to her.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Garner of Amory; son, Jody Wilemon (fiancée, Reniee Robinson) of Amory; sister, Teena Pritchard of San Francisco, Calif.; brother, Joe Edgeworth of Tupelo; mother-in-law, Robbie Garner of Amory; nieces and nephew, Courtney Dean, Bailie Edgeworth and Robin Hadaway; special friends, Kathy Kuykendall and Delores Hadaway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kandi Wilemon, and father-in-law, Albert Garner.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alan Boozer, Glen Kuykendall, Allen Evans, David Adams, Dennis Maxwell and Teddy Hadaway. Honorary pallbearer will be Phillip Minga.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, c/o Beth May, P.O. Box 269, Amory, MS 38821.
