Troy Tillett Rites Held
Funeral services for Troy Tillett were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1 in the First Baptist Church at Van Alstyne. Interment was in Van Alstyne Cemetery, under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
Mr. Tillett was born March 29, 1898 and died Saturday, November 29 in Sherman.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters. Mmes. Jewel Green, Claudine Wallace and Joe Wright and son, M. J. Tillett, all of Calif.; brothers, Leon of Wylie; Jim of McKinney; C. W. of Van Alstyne; A. L. of Durant, Okla.; sisters, Mrs. Jewel Hendricks of Anna and Mrs. Gertrude Dowell of Farmers Branch; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
