Corbett Lee Faber, 90, of Cortland, Ohio died May 12 at Faber's Nursing Home. He was born in Goldtown, Feb. 22, 1893, son of John Henry and Mary Virginia Corbin Faber. He was a member of Fowler-Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church, founded Faber's Nursing Home in 1937, was a World War I veteran and a retired farmer. Surviving: daughters, Sarah Jane Fredrick and Thelma Virginia Geiger, Collegedale, Tenn., Olive Dowswell, Loma Linda, Calif.; son, Richard Paul Faber, Mount Vernon, Ohio; sister, Linnie Vickers, Elkview; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle Evans Faber, in 1970, and his second wife, Alwilda Polk Faber, in 1982. Services were held May 16. Burial was in Cortland, Ohio.
