Robert H. "Bob" Williams, 55, of 1920 Kennedy St., Murphysboro, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1981, in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro as the result of a heart attack.

He was the owner and operator of Bob Williams Plumbing and Heating, Inc., in Murphysboro. He was a Member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 127 and the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union 160 in Murphysboro. He was a World War II Army veteran.

He was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Murphysboro, to Parm and HuIda Rowald Williams. He married Lawanda Quigley June 28, 1947, in Piggott, Ark.

Survivors include his wife: one son, Chris, of Murphysboro; one daughter, Bettina, of Murphysboro; three brothers, Parm Williams Jr. and Charles Williams, both of Murphysboro, and James Williams of Reno, Nev.; and one sister, Anna Jane Gavel of Reno.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at Crawshaw Mortuary in Murphysboro and after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church

Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Chair Lift or Heating Fund.
