Blackville - Manuel "Tank" Williams, 80, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, in Aiken Regional Medical Center. Tank was born in Barnwell County, November 3, 1932. He was a son of the late Alex and Edna Creech Williams. He had retired as an employee of the S.C. Housing Authority. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Healing Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jeffery Ray and Rev. George Still officiating. Burial will follow in Blackville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include his sons; Ricky (Mary Ann) Williams of Blackville, and Jeffery (Amy) Williams of Lexington; daughter, Debra Williams of Gaston; brother, Donnie (Dale) Williams of Barnwell; sisters, Elizabeth (Oneal) Hutson of Blackville, Betty (John Rice) Still, Mildred (Robert) Still and Joanne (George) Still of Barnwell; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel Wade Williams, his son, Tony Manuel Williams, sister, Dorothy Grubbs, and brothers, Charlie and Elbert Williams. © The State, Columbia, SC, 27 Feb 2013
