She was born November 23, 1938 in Franklin County, AR to Evans Whittington and Alva Pettigrew Whittington.
She was a 1956 graduate of County Line High School.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Graveside, Saturday, March 1, 2013 at Lowes Creek Cemetery north of Branch under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston, Ar.
She is survived by three brothers, Truman Whittington and wife Norma of Ozark, MO, Joe Whittington and wife Susie of Branch, AR and Eldon Whittington and wife Nancy of Alma, AR and several nieces and nephews and other family members.
