He was a Pipefitter. He was a beloved member of Victory Temple Church where he will be missed greatly. Dale's faith, spiritual gifts and love touched all who knew him and will impact their lives forever. His godly love and affections were seen in his generosity and grace. Known as Papaw to his grandchildren, Dale loved playing with them and praying over them, that they know and serve Christ.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother Wordna Duke and a stepson Curtis Forbes.
Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2013 at Victory Temple with Pastor Gary Brown officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Pam, four sons Daniel and Anthony Brooks of Fort Smith, Bradley and Brian Brooks of Ohio, two stepsons Adam and Jess Shaffer of Fort Smith, one brother Stanley Brooks of Ohio and eleven grandchildren.
