Martin "Rawhide" W. Milligan

Martin W. "Rawhide" Milligan, age 86, of Maryville, joined relatives and friends in Heaven Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born November 27, 1926 and was a veteran of both the Navy and the Air Force. He loved singing the old time country music songs and knew over 300 by heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Anna Belle Milligan and siblings, Beatrice, James, Leroy, and Riley. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Milligan; children, Mike, Connie, Paula, and Zane; mother of his children, Edna; step-children, Wendy, Robbin, and Steven; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. May all of us that he left behind hold his memory in our hearts forever. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel with the interment to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, Rev. Phillip Marshall officiating.
