Entertainer. He was a ventriloquist and magician who entertained the Royal family at Windsor. He was known for performing the Sphinx Illusion. He also authored a number of books and pamphlets on magic. He died of tuberculosis at the park of his career. His show was carried on by his brother, Alfred, and his widow, "Madame Stodare."
