SUNBURY — Jane E. Hawkins, 86, of Sunbury, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville.

She was born Oct. 30, 1926, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Charles B. and Dorothy M. (Engle) Minnier. On Aug. 30, 1946, Jane married Donald I. Hawkins, who survives.

Jane was a graduate of Sunbury High School.

She had been very active in Albright United Methodist Church, now a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Jane enjoyed crafts and spending time with family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children and their spouses, Linda L. Baker, of Northumberland, William I. and Jill Hawkins, of Selinsgrove, and Michael C. and Cheryl Hawkins, of Danville; two grandchildren, Christopher M. Smith and Sean W. Hawkins; one niece, Janis H. Hopwood; and three nephews, Richard, Randall and Ronald Wagner.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home, Inc., 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 2, with the Rev Ronald Troup officiating.

Burial will be at Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane's memory may be made to Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall, 1 Maria Hall Drive, Danville, PA 17821.
