She was born November 5, 1925 , in Bloomfield a daughter of the late Homer and Bernadine Wymer Jerles. She was a l945 graduate of New Concord High School and a member of the Farm Bureau of Zanesville.
She is survived by her husband, Harper J. Barr, whom she married September 21, l946; daughters, Patty Martin , Mary Helen (Charles) St. Clair, and Ruth Ann Stiers; sons, Larry (Carolyn) Barr, and Rick Barr ; sister, Bonnie Smith; brothers, Donald Jerles, Robert (Mary Ann) Jerles and Edward (Pat) Jerles; 19 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. A sister Rosalie Rankin is deceased.
Friends may call Monday, August 29, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Mock-Miller Funeral Home, 63 West Main Street, New Concord. Services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, August 30, at the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
