Born to Donald Mayer & Patsy Marie (Kearney) Enright. He was an 8th grader at Malden Junior High School, Malden, IL. He was one of the top students scholastically and was a member of the Junior High basketball team. On Monday night before his death, he scored 15 points to lead the Rippies to a win over Campbell. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday in an airplane in route to a Memphis Hospital. During the past 12 to 18 months he had undergone medical treatments for frequent headaches. Tuesday after noon he came home from school with a severe headache. Later he was taken to the Croom-Morehead Clinic. His condition continued to worsen and he lapsed into unconsciousness. Arrangements were made to fly him to Memphis for surgery, but he died en route.

He is survived by his parents; a brother, Gary; a sister, Brenda, all of the home; his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Kearney, of Ullin, IL and Mrs. Dollie Enright, of Laguna Hills, CA.
