Professional Football Player. For six seasons (1964 to 1969), he played at the fullback position in the National Football League with the Baltimore Colts and New Orleans Saints. Born William Anthony Lorick, he attended John C. Freemont High School in Los Angeles and East Los Angeles Junior College before making his mark on the gridiron at Arizona State University. While with the Sun Devils, he led the team in rushing yardage twice (1962 and 1963) as a halfback and fullback. Additionally, he distinguished himself at the linebacker position during his collegiate years. Selected by the Baltimore Colts during the 1964 NFL Draft, he appeared in 83 regular season games. As a rookie (1964), he produced a career-high 513 rushing yards and was a contributor to the Colts' team which reached the 1964 NFL Title Game. Additionally during the course of his career, he served as an effective kick returner. After retiring from football, he worked in sales and marketing for a Texas-area brewery. He was inducted into the Arizona State University's Hall of Fame in 1983.
