Margaret Alice Swisher Combs, 91, of Hindsboro, passed away at 7:35 P.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
She was born on January 1, 1921 in Coles County to Frank and Sylva Hale Swisher. She married Ellis Combs on December 17, 1938 in Henderson, Ky. He passed away on August 28, 1977. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Lonnie Ray Combs; four brothers, Ned, Harry Lee, Gene and Toland Swisher and one sister, Helen Davis.
She is survived by two children, Donald (Linda) Combs and Patricia Howard; five grandchildren, Autumn (Todd) Wood, Brandon (Lois) Combs, Derrick (Elyssa) Combs, Amy Howard-Burgess and Paul Howard; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack Swisher one sister, Phyllis Rose.
