in Cobb County. He married Julia Wolfe May 24 1849 in Alabama until March 24,1916 in Cobb County. She was the daughter of Phillip Wolfe and Catherine Stewart. Joseph is buried in the city cemetery in Cobb County Ga.

Alexander (Alex) Carter was born Sept. 17,1863 and died in 1925. His 1st marriage was to Elizabeth Lassiter Oct. 14,1865 until Mar.29,1900. his 2nd marriage was to Jenny Nelms Savage. She was born Oct. 8,1868 - no issue.
