Jean Parrish, 87 of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Gleason, passed away peacefully at home in Lexington, Ky. on Feburary 25, 2013. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 2:00 pm, at Williams Funeral Home in Gleason, with burial to follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 am until service time. She was born April 24, 1925, in Martin, Tn., the daughter of the late Charlie and Lula Mae Babb. She was the widow of Carl. L. Parrish. She is survived by two sons, Max A. (Mary) Parrish of Lexington, Ky. and Larry G. (Christi) Parrish of Apache Junction, Arizona; one brother, Bobby E. Babb; and Larry Parrish, one brother Bobby Babb; five sisters, Marilyn Belew, Judy Belew, Carolyn Blaylock, Ruth Finch, and Dorothy J. Krueger three grandchildren, Jason M. (Amy) Parrish, Bryan L. Parrish and Kelly L Parrish; and two great-grandchildren, Amelia N. Hayes and Eliza K. Parrish. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles K. Babb and Jerry D. Babb.
