George Washington Baker with a Civil War medal taken in Columbus, Ohio circa 1889-1892. George was in the 23rd Virginia Cavalry, Co. M, Confederate States of America, during the Civil War. He was imprisoned at Camp Chase in Columbus, OH and ended up staying in Ohio after the Civil War.
