Susan Jean Wendel, age 61, of Columbia Station, OH passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was born March 6, 1951 in Santa Maria, CA to Victor and the late Florence Goss. Susan has resided in Columbia Station for the past 29 years. She was a freelance artist, enjoyed photography, knitting and quilting. Susan taught sewing classes and repaired sewing machine, too.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John, sons: Robert ( wife Michelle) Haff, of Columbia Station; Arin Wendel ( wife Kimberly Morrow/Wendel), of Litchfield; and Nathan Wendel of Columbia Station. Grandchildren- Aaron Thomas Wendel; Myranda Evanish and Gaeg Arin Wendel. Great granddaughter- Kaydence Evanish. Her father- Victor Goss, CA; brothers- Victor Goss and Dennis Bishop, both of CA and a sister- Kay Cantrell, of NC. Calling hours- Weds. 7-9 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH Private family Graveside Service will be held at Columbia Township Cemetery, Columbia Station.
In lieu of flowers-The family suggests memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Columbia Food Bank or charity of donor's choice
