Nippert died Thursday, Jan. 2, at Clovis High Plains Hospital. He was born May 20, 1951, in Clovis. He was a switchman/brakeman for the Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Nippert and two brothers, Murrel and Gerald Nippert.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Nippert, Clovis; one daughter, Heather Nippert, Clovis; one son Heat Nippert, Clovis, and his mother, Oleta Warren, Amherst, Texas.
Casket bearers will be Jerry Trollinger, henry Campbell, Bobby Cole, Joe Cole, Paul Tankersley and Romney Todd.
