HEBERT — Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Rogers, 86, of Herbert [sic Hebert] were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the Bethany Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Russell officiating.
Burial was to be in the Duchesne Cemetery in Herbert [sic Hebert] under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mrs. Rogers died Sunday at Caldwell Hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Rogers of Hebert; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Murphy of Hebert; one stepson, Boatner Duchense [sic Duchesne] of Augusta, Ark.; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
