JACK'S OBITUARY
U.S. Veteran
Funeral services for Jack Tyler, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.

Jack Tyler passed away on October 30, 2019 at the age of 79. After graduating from Rogers High School in 1959, he proudly served his country in the National Guard. From 1968 to 1993, Jack worked as a Texas DPS Trooper. He loved protecting and serving the public and made many lifelong friends as a Trooper. After Jack's retirement, not a day went by without Jack telling a story to all who would listen about his patrols with his partners, Jesse Newman, Ricky Thigpen, and A.W. Wright. Jack was proud to be part of the DPS until the day he died.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mary Waltine Tyler; wife, Margaret Ann Tyler; and step-daughter, Sheri Lynn O'Neill.

He is survived by his daughter, Debra Tyler Klitsas and husband, Loren of Houston; grandchildren, Arianna Klitsas and Alexander Klitsas; step-daughter, Angela O'Neill Vickery; and grandchildren, Christopher Wiggins, Megan Vickery, and Matthew Vickery; along with numerous other relatives and friends.ACK'S OBITUARY
