Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Walter Dickson and Virginia Miller Thomason.
Mrs. Brewer was retired from Pendleton Manor Nursing Center and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Surviving are two nieces by blood, daughters by love, Harriett Payne, and Kay Medlin and her husband, Barry; a great-nephew, Zack Medlin; and a great-great-nephew, Drake Patterson.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 19, 2006, at 3 p.m. in Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at Remembrance Chapel.
