Howard was in the Military over a period of 53 years, where he served in the Marines (the end of WWII and Korea) for 10 years. The remainder of his service time was with the California National Guard. He was a warehouseman at Thrifty Drug for 15 years. Howard and his wife Barbara enjoyed traveling the back roads of California. He loved time with his grandchildren and his puppy dog.
A Committal Service will be held for Howard on Wednesday, February 27, 11am at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, CA.
