Benjamin George Robertson III

Robertson, Benjamin George III, 64, of Louisville, died Friday, January 20, 2006 at Norton Hospital.

He was born in Louisville on December 19, 1941, the oldest son of the late Benjamin George Robertson, Jr. and Helen Tway Robertson. A graduate of Louisville Country Day and Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where he received a bachelor?s degree. He also received a Master?s in Library Science from Spalding University. He served as a librarian in the Jefferson County Public Schools for over 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, where he also volunteered. He also served on the Board of Directors of Kentucky Country Day School.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Bingham Cory Robertson; his two sons, The Reverend Benjamin George Robertson IV and Andrew David Robertson; two daughters, Caroline Barr Joyes Nixon and Edith Houghton Nixon; a sister, Shelby Bennett Robertson; and two brothers, Charles Todd Robertson and Michael Tway Robertson.

Memorial gifts may be made to the choir at St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church or the Robertson Memorial Library at Kentucky Country Day School.
