Obituary: Jack Randolph Helms Jr, age 42, of Levels, West Virginia died Monday, March 30, 2009, in Frederick County, Virignia. Mr. Helms was born in 1966, in Oakland, Maryland, the son of Jack Randolph Helms Sr and Mary Frances (Green) Helms of Capon Bridge, Hampshire County, West Virginia. He was a Lithograph plate maker for the United Lithograph Services in Ashburn, Virginia. Mr. Helms was a graduate of Southern Garrett High School in Oakland, Maryland. Surviving with his parents are two sons, Aaron Scott Helms of Oakland, Maryland, Dusty Wayne Helms of Levels, West Virginia, his sister, Karen (Helms) Hanlin, her husband, Stoney and their children, Rachel and Matthew, all of Oakland, Maryland, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon, from 2-4 p.m. and evening, from 6-8 p.m., at Omps Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, Memorial Processing, P.O. Box 2516, Glen Allen, Virignia 23058.
