Dennis Ray Neal, 56, of Benton passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. There will be no visitation, and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Neal was born on Feb. 19, 1955, in Christopher.
Mr. Neal was a former worker of the IBEW.
He is survived by one brother, Keith Neal and wife Judy of Macedonia; and two nephews, Randy Neal of Macedonia, Bryon Neal and wife April and their children, Kylie, Barrett and Blane of Sedalia, Mo.
Mr. Neal was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ethel Neal.
