BLACKBURN Loraine E. (nee Waechter), beloved wife of 62 years of Wallace Blackburn; loving mother of Michael (Diane) of Glendale, Darryl (Nanci) and Kenneth (Brenda) of West Chester; devoted grandmother of Megan (Scott) Stevens and Matthew and Michael Blackburn; loving sister of Paul and Stanley Waechter and the late Sylvia Bockelmann; dear daughter of the late Harry and Alma Waechter. First woman Council Member of Forest Park, where she resided 49 years and was elected to three terms as Clerk-Treasurer, three terms on City Council, and served as Vice-Mayor of the city. She will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends. Visitation will be at the Vorhis Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. Funeral Service at the Chapel of Vorhis Funeral Home, Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 11 A.M. followed by interment at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Road. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, PO Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263.
