BLACKBURN Loraine E. (nee Waechter), beloved wife of 62 years of Wallace Blackburn; loving mother of Michael (Diane) of Glendale, Darryl (Nanci) and Kenneth (Brenda) of West Chester; devoted grandmother of Megan (Scott) Stevens and Matthew and Michael Blackburn; loving sister of Paul and Stanley Waechter and the late Sylvia Bockelmann; dear daughter of the late Harry and Alma Waechter. First woman Council Member of Forest Park, where she resided 49 years and was elected to three terms as Clerk-Treasurer, three terms on City Council, and served as Vice-Mayor of the city. She will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends. Visitation will be at the Vorhis Funeral Home, 11365 Springfield Pike, Springdale, Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. Funeral Service at the Chapel of Vorhis Funeral Home, Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 11 A.M. followed by interment at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Road.
