NAMPA — Services for Joseph W. Wendlick, 90, formerly of 407 4th Ave. S., who died Sunday at a local hospital, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 11:30 a.m. at the Shepherd Mortuary with the Rev. Keith C. Mills officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Wendlick was born Aug. 11, 1877, at Pardeeville, Wis. He was raised in Wisconsin and married Ida M. Fulmer in 1903 at Boulder, Colo. They moved to Nampa in 1942 from Halley where they had lived for five years.
Mr. Wendlick was building box foreman for the Union Pacific Railroad stationed at Glenns Ferry and Nampa until his retirement in 1937. Mrs. Wendlick preceded him in death in November, 1959.
Mr. Wendlick is survived by one daughter, Opal Wendlick of Nogales, Ariz.; and a son, Ray Wendlick of Chicago, Ill.
