Sally Thompson Chandler of Williamston, S.C. passed away Saturday,
Feb. 23, 2013.
She was born March 18, 1939 and
raised in Hayesville.
She was preceded in death by her
father and mother, John R. and Benita
Thompson, daughter Angie Strickland,
infant son, and brother, Jack Thompson.
She is survived by children, Chuck
Scroggs of Williamston, S.C., Greg and
wife Anita Scroggs of Flowery Branch,
Ga.; grandchildren, Tasha Wilkie, Dylan
Strickland, who she raised as her own,
and other grandchildren, Morgan and
Grant Scroggs of Flowery Branch, Ga.;
two great-grandchildren, Zoe and Benjamin Wilkie of Anderson, S.C.; a brother, David K. and wife Vickie Thompson;a sister Susie Moore, and a sister-in-law
Faye Thompson, all of Hayesville; and
several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at
Shiloh Baptist Church in Hayesville, 1
p.m., Saturday, March 2. Revs. Jimmy
Rogers and Clark Moss will be oficiating along with special music from Steve
Moore and The Cody Family.
Burial will be at Meadow Grove
Baptist Church Cemetery. Sosebee
Mortuary and Crematory, Anderson,
S.C. will be assisting the family with
the arrangements
