He was a son of the late Charles A. and Katie Shilling Barger and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lenna Belle Earles Barger and the following children: Raymond Granville Barger, Statford, Ct.; Mrs. Evelyn Garagnon and Mrs. Earlene Byrn, Phoenix, Az; Joe Earles Barger, U.S. Navy; brothers and sisters: Benjamin Edward Barger, Mrs. Anna Wompler, Mrs. Nan Collier, Baltimore; Mrs. Nellie Danner, J.W. Barger, McKinley Herbert Barger, Brunswick; Charles A. Barger, Frederick; Miss Lee M. Barger, Florida.
He was a member of the B&O Railroad Conductors.
Services were held at the Church of the Brethren, Brownsville; interment in adjoining cemetery; arrangements by the C.H. Feete and Bro. Funeral Home.
