Alfred Clair Lego, 86, Bellwood, died Saturday afternoon at Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone.

He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Harold and Ida Lego. He married Iona M. Beck on July 21, 1956, at Logan's Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood. She died on March 17, 2005.

Surviving are two daughters: Diane M. (Jake) Horton of Lambertsville, Mich., and Kathy A. (Mark) Noye of Tyrone; five grandchildren: Joshua and Jarrid Horton, Kelsey Beattie and Kendra and Dustin Noye.

Clair retired as a welder/ painter at Conrail.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific theater on the USS Enterprise.

He was a member of Faith Bible Church, Bellwood.

He enjoyed hunting and was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, with Pastor Ben Hoover officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in Clair's memory be made to Faith Bible Church, Bellwood.
