Whitney, Tx. - Deborah Karen Cochran, 59, formerly of Abilene, died Friday, February 22, 2013 in an Abilene hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26th at Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel in Merkel with Pastor Cody Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Deborah was born July 22, 1953 in Abilene to Ralph Glenn and Billie Ione (Goza) Cochran. She was a cosmetologist during her younger years. She was also a homemaker and creative artist painting oil paintings and making jewelry.

Survivors include five daughters, Marci Lee Monti and husband David of Florida, Angela Hope Tevebaugh and Amber Ione Arnold both of Baird, Ashley McKie and husband Justin of Benbrook, Andrea May Coolman of Mineola; three brothers, David Cochran and wife Cindy of Abilene, Bill Cochran and wife Lisa of Potosi, Charlie Cochran of Hamby; sister, Kim Roberts and husband Kevin of Merkel; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Little Ralph Cochran; and a sister, Tammie Fuller.
