GUNTOWN – Mary Bell Buse, 90, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Tupelo. She married James (Pete) Buse in 1938. She was a past employee of Lady Lee and also for Purnells Pride. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, fishing and visiting with friends and her great-grandchildren. She loved working in her garden and working with her flowers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dwight Scott officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

She is survived by daughters, Eula Joyner Capps (Buster) of Guntown and Patricia Montgomery of Saltillo; son, Ronald Buse of Guntown; 12 grandchildren, Edmond Joyner, Jimmy Joyner, Steven Joyner, Sandra Joyner, Anthony Buse, Ronald Buse, Christy Rogers, Susie Dugard, Gary Montgomery, Lawrence Buse and Misty Gail Buse; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Febie White Melton; husband, Pete Buse; sons, James Buse and Mitchell Buse; three brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Joyner, Kyle Martin, Gary Montgomery, Lawrence Buse, Shane Brown and Jason Floyd.
