Surviving are his wife, Vera; two sons, Billy and Heath, both of Nokomis; one daughter, Teresa Taylor of Carbondale; parents, Merwin and Blanche Taylor of Nokomis; three brothers, Dale of Florida, Buddie of Witt and Jimmie of Nokomis; and one sister, Judy Dains of Nokomis.
