Obituary Lucille Jones Jenkins was born to the parents of Joe and Maria Rouse (who preceded here in death), in Lincoln County, GA on October 17, 1943. She went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center, Frisco, TX. As a child, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA with parents and siblings. Lucille graduated from Scott High, North Braddock, PA. She received training as a switchboard/key punch operator and obtained a certificate from Hardy Bible School. At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She united in marriage to Dinis Jones (deceased). They were blessed with 2 daughters, Karla and Lisa. Samuel E. Jenkins and Lucille were married September 14, 1981. Throughout her life she consistently loved and served the Lord. As a member of First Baptist Church, Braddock Hills, she served on the financial committee and delivered the church announcements. Lucille later joined Union Baptist, Swissvale, PA where she became the Sunday School Superintendent. Her career consisted of various jobs. In 1995 she started her career at Mellon Bank, Forest Hills, PA as a bank Teller, was advanced to Administrative Assistant and retired in 1998 as Teller Trainer. Lucille relocated to Dallas, TX in 1999. Shortly after moving to Dallas she became a member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park. She worked at Kids R Kids as a lead teacher in the infant room. Lucille received much joy from "her babies" and was loved by the children, their parents, staff & her boss Mark Cobb. Preceded in death by daughter Lisa Rhone, brothers Raymond Rouse, Lace Rouse (Ella Mae), Andrew Rouse, and sister Lula Bell Partlow(Tom) and brother-in-law William Norman. She leaves to celebrate her life husband Samuel Jenkins; daughter Karla Fields (Ramous), Lilburn, GA; son-in-law Cedric Rhone, Dallas TX; brothers Joe Rouse (Michelle), Denmark, GA; Willie Rouse (Jeanette) Suwanee, GA; sisters Mae Leitha Norman, Lincolnton, GA; Geraldine Bryant (Lyle), Belleville, GA; grand children Maryah Fields, Lilburn, GA; and Demetris Fields, Fort Meade, MD; sister-in-laws Cora Rouse Pittsburgh, PA; Prether Rouse, Maywood, IL; Ruby Barnette, Braddock, PA; Mary Jenkins, Olivia, NC; step children, Vermeda Anderson, Florence, SC; Revina Anderson, Turtle Creek, PA, Carmen Jenkins, Silver Springs, MD; step grand-children Jamaryl "Coach" Matthews, Greensboro, NC; Gage Aldridge, Florence, SC; Terrell and Antasia Anderson, Pittsgurgh, PA; Tarik Jenkins Singleton and Paytyn Jenkins Jacob, Silver Springs, MD.
